Above & Beyond Community Services has been serving the community for 6 years and brings more than 20 years of experience and knowledge to the individuals and families we support.

Program experience
A day built around choice and growth.
Our Day Supports program provides structured, person-centered activities designed to promote independence, socialization, skill development, community inclusion, and personal choice. A participant’s day may include independent-living instruction, social and communication activities, recreational opportunities, community outings, health and wellness activities, and individualized goals identified in the participant’s service plan.

Transportation & community outings
Community integration is an important part of our programming. Participants have opportunities to access recreational, educational, social, and community activities. Transportation may be provided when applicable to the participant’s authorized service and individual plan.

Above & Beyond primarily serves adults, with age requirements varying depending on the specific service or funding source.
We serve individuals with IDD, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral health needs, and mental health diagnoses, including people with co-occurring diagnoses who may need added support to live successfully in their homes and communities.

Above & Beyond Community Services is co-owned by Tinikia Jefferies and Ce’aeira Simmons. Together, they provide the leadership and strategic direction for the organization and share a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral and mental health needs.
Tinikia Jefferies
Co-Owner & Clinical Director
Tinikia provides clinical leadership and oversight, focusing on quality of care, clinical programming, service development, compliance, and ensuring services remain person-centered and responsive to the needs of the individuals served.
Ce’aeira Simmons
Co-Owner & Program/Human Resources Director
Ce’aeira provides leadership over program operations and human resources, including staffing, workforce development, program implementation, and organizational operations.
Additional members of our leadership and clinical team may be featured as the organization continues to grow.
